After practicing in Ontario for twelve years I decided to take a working holiday, for three seasons, at the beautiful seaside spa in Cape Breton. The east coast captured my heart and I now reside in Nova Scotia where I live, work and play by the sea.
I've been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2004. I am a member of Massage Therapists' Association of Nova Scotia and the Atlantic Canada Association of Reflexology Therapists
Dedicated to lifelong learning, I have complemented my practice with training in Acupressure, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Integrated Lymph Drainage, Breast Massage, Thermal Palms® Massage, Hydrotherm Massage, Raindrop Therapy, Chronic Pelvic Pain Therapy, Geriatric Massage, Palliative Care, Aquatic Massage Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy and Reiki.
I provide a holistic, gentle, healing touch that is tailored to meet your needs. I believe massage therapy is an excellent way to facilitate the body’s natural healing process.
I encourage each client to participate in this process to help them reach their health care goals. Sessions are augmented with client education on self care such as postural awareness, hydrotherapy and remedial exercise.
In-home sessions can be arranged for those wishing to reduce end-of-life symptoms through Comfort Touch.
To make massage therapy a part of your journey towards optimal health and well being I invite you to call or email me. I would love to tailor a treatment just for you!
